About the founder of
Law Offices of Lisa S. Mediano and Mediano Real Estate:
A Massachusetts native, I relocated to Southern California, where I was a real estate salesperson for Century 21 in Huntington Beach. I also lived in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Florida, working in sales and real estate, before returning home to the Greater Boston area. I learned a lot by becoming a member of communities in other parts of this great country, and found that people welcomed me and my family wherever we lived, in spite of our funny Boston accent!
I graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in English and obtained a law degree cum laude at New England School of Law. While at law school, I participated in Honors Moot Court as a Semifinalist, and was a contributing writer to school newspaper Due Process . I received the New England Scholar Award, and the Corpus Juris Secondum awards for Civil Procedure, Bankruptcy, and Local Government Law.
My legal experience includes clerking at a Boston litigation firm and a family law practice, as well as litigating tax cases on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue through my capacity as a Tax Counsel in the Litigation Bureau.
